<p>Hunter Valley-based Weston Aluminium has won a three-year contract to process aluminium dross from Comalco’s smelter at Bell Bay in Tasmania.</p> <p>The contract is for 3,000 tonnes of aluminium dross a year to be shipped and railed to Weston’s aluminium plant in Kurri Kurri.</p> <p>The recycling plant began operations in 1998 and was expanded in 2002.</p> <p>Aluminium dross contains a high percentage of aluminium that can be recovered in the recycling process.</p> <br />
