<p>Melbourne’s Westgate Ports would consolidate its Interport Services arm in the company’s main Victoria Dock facility, a spokesman confirmed yesterday (Wednesday, February 27).</p> <p>The move will entail shifting Interport from its present 93,000-sq m Yarraville location, which had capacity for 10,000 teu.</p> <p>The Yarraville space, which has a rail link with the port, is up for lease.</p> <p>"The container park is being closed from Monday, April 21, and operations are being consolidated at Victoria Dock," the spokesman said,</p> <p>"Basically, it’s a straight transfer of operations from Yarraville."</p> <br />
