Brisbane is contending with a bottleneck at the core of the city’s rail system. The Cross River Rail Project is aiming to provide a more reliable network for the region’s growing commuter population, adopting a Digital Network Approach to see, track, and understand the project’s entire scale with innovative 3D mapping.
Using a federated BIM model, Cross River Rail has created 17 kilometres of Brisbane in virtual reality, and the more construction progresses, the more granular the detail will become. By the time the project is complete, there will be a gamified high visual fidelity digital replica of every station and tunnel.
In this webinar, Project Director Tony Eid, and General Manager of Communications and Engagement Russ Vine, offer a deep-dive into the Project DNA, what’s next for this transformational project, and how it is changing the face of megaproject delivery in Queensland.
