<p>Toll Group’s Patrick Terminals division will welcome the arrival of a new $9m container crane to Berth 8 in Fremantle, on Monday (November 6) <em>.</em> </p> <p>The crane will change the landscape in Fremantle by surpassing the existing wharf cranes with an additional 30 metres of height and 16 metres of outreach.</p> <p>A specialised vessel, the <em>Zhen Hua 11</em> , will deliver the crane and the discharge operation will take around four days to complete, with another six to eight weeks before the crane is commissioned. </p> <p>The crane was built by ZPMC in Shanghai, China and is one of seven cranes built for Patrick Terminals throughout Australia.</p> <p>The post panamax crane’s dimensions are: Overall height with boom raised, 107.8 metres height with boom lowered, 75.31 metres total weight, 1180 tonnes lifting capacity, 75 tonnes and outreach, 49 metres.</p> <br />
