THE Queensland government has released a video showing how Stage 4 of the Gold Coast Light Rail would work in practice.
The 13kilometre extension from Stage 3 would connect Burleigh Heads with Coolangatta, providing a smooth public transport connection the length of the glitter strip.
The video shows how land bridges will be deployed in order to protect local fauna.
The government also says the Burleigh Head National Park will be preserved.
Improved connection to the M1 freeway via 19th Avenue also is hailed as a benefit.
