Graduates from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds can now apply to work on Victoria’s Big Build.
The State Government is looking for 100 new people to help build big and work across the Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria, North East Link Program, Rail Projects Victoria and West Gate Tunnel Project.
If successful, graduates will undertake a two-year program featuring structured learning and development opportunities as well as career planning to prepare for the next step in their professional lives.
They’ll develop technical and workforce skills, working alongside industry leaders and learning from experts eager to help and guide the next generation of talent.
By joining one of our project teams, graduates will gain first-hand experience working on state-shaping projects that will make it easier for Victorians to get where they need to go quickly and safely.
Job specialties across Victoria’s Big Build include engineering, graphic design, human resources, information systems, land planning and environment, and law.
The Big Build Graduate Program is recognised by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers as one of the country’s best workplaces for graduates.
Last year more than 1600 graduates applied to be part of the 2023 cohort, with 138 making it through to hiring.
Graduates wishing to apply must have completed a degree since January 2021 or be due to graduate by January 2024, hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree relevant to the role applied for and have full Australian working rights at the time of application.
If you have completed a master’s degree, you must have started it within 12 months of completing your bachelor’s degree.
Applications to be part of the 2024 Victoria’s Big Build Graduate Program close on Wednesday, March 22. Find out more about the program at bigbuild.vic.gov.au/grads.
