<p>V/Line has joined the fight against fruit fly in Victoria, placing "amnesty bins" at Spencer Street Station, where customers can dispose of any fruit imported from interstate.</p> <p>The operator will also communicate the "no fruit fly" message to customers through pamphlets and posters at stations near the borders. </p> <p>Additional bins will be placed at strategic sites such as Bendigo.</p> <p>V/Line passenger general manager Geoff Arthur said: "We are proud to be involved as we support our farmers and the State Government in their efforts to keep our fruit industry fruit fly free."</p> <br />
