<p>US-based rail operator Genesee and Wyoming has not ruled out launching a takeover bid for Tranz Rail, <em>Lloyd’s List</em> reported in London yesterday (Thursday, July 23).</p> <p>The company has yet to decide whether to launch the bid for Tranz Rail – which is already the subject of a NZ95-cents-a-share offer from Toll Holdings.</p> <p>Genesee and Wyoming already holds a 1% stake in Tranz Rail and continues to be interested in the operator, <em>Lloyd’s List</em> said. </p> <br />
