<p>Three major unions at Toll Holdings and Patrick Corp have issued a joint statement warning managers at the combined companies "not to use its size to attack working conditions". </p> <p>The Maritime Union of Australia, the Transport Workers Union, and the Rail, Tram and Bus Union are seeking commitments from Toll that they will be consulted on changes to entitlements, jobs and assets resulting from the undertakings that Toll has agreed to with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. </p> <p>MUA national secretary Paddy Crumlin said the union had collective agreements with both companies that it expected to be honoured. </p> <p>"Toll should not expect workers to pay the high price for the takeover with their jobs," he said. </p> <p>The RBTU wants to finalise a long-term collective agreement for its members at Patrick Rail and the Toll-Patrick joint venture Pacific National. </p> <br />
