<p>Transport Distribution Australia (TDT) has completed the draft of the first transport industry skills report and issued it for further industry input.</p> <p>TDT Australia, which is the Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council, collaborated with the Australian National Training Authority to examine skill needs and issues for the industry in the report.</p> <p>The draft report will suggest various strategies on how to tackle the skills needs of transport and logistics industry workers with a particular focus on training requirements.</p> <p>TDT Australia has started a consultation process and seeks further industry input in this process.</p> <p>Once the consultation is complete, a final industry skills report will be produced and then incorporated into a national industry skills report to be presented to ministers and state training authorities.</p> <p>To view or make a contribution to the report, access www.t d taustralia.com and look under news/current projects or contact TDT Australia on 1800 257 114.</p> <br />
