<p>Great Southern Railway’s (GSR) holiday package arm, Trainways, officially opened its first Sydney booking office yesterday (Monday, April 8).</p> <p>The booking office, l at Central Railway Station, will specialise in selling rail travel aboard GSR’s Ghan, Indian Pacific and Overland services.</p> <p>It will provide information on available journeys and holiday packages.</p> <p>GSR’s trains travel to Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Alice Springs and regional centres.</p> <p> “Train travel in Australia is continuing to grow in popularity with both the domestic and international travel market," chief executive officer Stephen Bradford said.</p> <p>"Trainways has opened the booking office in Sydney in response to this demand.”</p> <br />
