<p>An article, entitled ꆰLittle’s latest plan to split empire while continuing to hold the strings ꆱ, which was in the printed edition of <em>Lloyd’s List DCN</em> (February 22), appears to have caused some concern at Toll Holdings. </p> <p>The article reported on a presentation given by Paul Little, the chief executive of Toll Holdings Ltd, at the Australian Logistics Council Annual Forum 2007 on February 16.</p> <p>Lawyers representing Toll Holdings have requested that we publish the following statement.</p> <p>"The article contained statements which misreport Mr Little by incorrectly suggesting that the strategic restructure of Toll into two separate logistics and infrastructure companies will not result in the creation of two independent and stand alone businesses. Toll maintains that the proposed restructure is intended to and will have this result."</p> <br />
