Established in 2010, Sigtech Solutions Australia has established a reputation as being one of the industry’s leading providers of turnkey rail systems and multidiscipline solutions.
Among the tasks carried out by the fully Australian company are design, construction, maintenance, testing and commissioning, system integration, and safety assurance.
As Managing Director Warren Daley explains, Sigtech provides Tier 1 contractors and network operators with the experience to maintain and meet company, project and regulatory requirements.

- Rail engineering project delivery
“We offer a complete project management service from concept and feasibility to delivery and close-out,” Daley said.

- Signal design
According to Signalling Design General Manager Adam Bird explains, Sigtech provides in-house signalling design solutions, offering complete packages for feasibility designs, functional specifications, concept designs, detailed designs, and RPEQ certification.
“We have expertise in various signalling technologies from relay interlockings to CBI. We’re also able to plan and execute principles testing (design integrity) for these technologies,” he said.
- CBTC and ETCS
Sigtech has signal design engineers and test engineers who have extensive experience in delivering design and testing in CBTC, ETCS L1 & L2 and ATMS.
- Locomotive testing
Daley said Sigtech had extensive experience in locomotive on-board installation and commissioning for automatic train protection (ATP, ETCS, CBTC, ATMS), autonomous train operation (ATO) and fuel saving systems.
