Territory farmers in land compensation row

<p>A group of Northern Territory cattle station owners could take legal action in a squabble over compensation for land acquired to build the Alice Springs-Darwin rail link.</p> <p>The group believes it was not adequately compensated for land. It also has issues about fence maintenance, crossing cattle and public liability, the ABC reported.</p> <p>It has accused the Northern Territory Government of dealing with landowners on a "one-off basis" and this has led to discrepancies in agreements, the ABC said.</p> <p>The cattle station owners want the government to review the issues. </p> <br />
