Narrabri to North Star line open for grain

The key milestone for the Inland Rail project has been celebrated at an event in Milguy, where the upgraded track between Camurra and North Star was returned to the track operator, the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), allowing trains to service grain silos at Milguy, Croppa Creek, and North Star after two and a half years of construction.

Moree Plains indebted to Inland Rail

Moree Plains shire council mayor Mark Johnson has featured in a new video from Inland Rail to help promote the benefits that the Brisbane to Melbourne freight rail line will bring to rural and regional communities along the alignment. Moree is at the heart of the Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) section of the Inland Rail program, helping the council secure $194 million investment from the New South Wales Government to fund the first stage of design and construction of the Moree Special Activation Precinct (SAP). Narrabri-North Star telecommunications enhanced

  Residents along the Inland Rail corridor from Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) will soon have access to improved mobile phone coverage, thanks to a partnership between the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) and its delivery partner, Telstra, to deliver new and upgraded mobile telecommunications infrastructure in the region.
