Moree Plains indebted to Inland Rail

Moree Plains shire council mayor Mark Johnson has featured in a new video from Inland Rail to help promote the benefits that the Brisbane to Melbourne freight rail line will bring to rural and regional communities along the alignment. Moree is at the heart of the Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) section of the Inland Rail program, helping the council secure $194 million investment from the New South Wales Government to fund the first stage of design and construction of the Moree Special Activation Precinct (SAP). Inland Rail corridor opens in time for harvest

Inland Rail is on track in North West NSW, with priority construction work on about 29 kilometres of track between Bellata and Moree on the Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) section completed in time for another bumper grain harvest in the region.
