<p>ST Group has started construction on a 17,500sqm terminal, its third in Brisbane.</p> <p>Chief executive Brad Skelton said the company intended to use the terminal to process oversized earthmover tyres, store earthmoving equipment, store infrastructure project cargo and conduct quarantine requirement services, such as steam cleaning and fumigation.</p> <p>Following the recent introduction of level 5 water restrictions in Brisbane, the terminal will incorporate a water recycling system capable of recycling 10,000 litres an hour.</p> <p>The $15.4m facility will include offices, warehouse, wash pad, hard-stand yard and storage facilities for oversized earthmover tyres and equipment, allowing clients to store imported goods while having their quarantine requirements met on site.</p> <br />
