<p>After Labor’s weekend victory in the New South Wales election, there is speculation that there could be a major shake-up in the transport sector. </p> <p>It is being suggested that embattled transport minister Carl Scully will be demoted and that police minister Michael Costa is his likely replacement.</p> <p>Whatever the outcome, the minister could end up with more than transport on his plate.</p> <p>It is understood that NSW premier Bob Carr wants to create a super-ministry, merging the transport and planning portfolios into a single infrastructure department, similar to the Victorian and Western Australian models. </p> <br />
