<p>With South Australia’s next budget in the offing, the state’s business community has sought to put transport infrastructure in the limelight, along with taxation.</p> <p>“A fundamental rethink of the state’s taxation base and infrastructure is necessary to ensure a bold economic legacy,” Business SA chief executive Peter Vaughan said. </p> <p>Business SA’s submission to the state government presented infrastructure as a priority for the future growth and sustainability of South Australian business. </p> <p>“The efficiency and quality of infrastructure are important factors in allowing businesses to perform at their peak,” Mr Vaughan said. </p> <p>“The Government must make sure appropriate funding is allocated to alleviate future freight bottlenecks in the rail and road networks.” </p> <br />
