<p>An export bottleneck on Adelaide’s road network would be removed today (Thursday, April 3) with the opening of a privately funded rail facility.</p> <p>The new railhead, to be operated by Mackenzie Intermodal, will link South Australia’s Outer Harbor rail line with Mackenzie’s operational hub next to Adelaide’s container terminal.</p> <p>The line is specifically designed for the company’s yearly haul of 16,000 containers of export wine.</p> <p>The railhead, worth $4m, will be opened by SA transport minister Patrick Conlon and Mackenzie managing director Lynton Mackenzie.</p> <br />
