Sniffer dogs on Sydney trains

<p>Police sniffer dogs can check passengers on the Sydney train network under new powers being introduced this week.</p> <p>New South Wales police minister Michael Costa has warned that people at any station or on any train could be searched. </p> <p>Drug users are known to have travelled regularly to Cabramatta for supplies, but the police disruption of trafficking there has meant dealers have diversified collection points to escape detection.</p> <p>The regulations cover bus terminals and interchanges at Grafton, Kempsey, Albury and Goulburn.</p> <br />
