Security measures for AusRAIL PLUS

The organisers of AusRAIL PLUS, to be held in Sydney from Feb 28 to March 2, have reiterated a raft of security measures to support a safe, productive and high-quality experience.

Double vaccinated event organisers and attendees
All attendees and event organiser staff will be required to produce their vaccination certification to confirm they have received at least two doses of a COVID vaccine before attending the event. They must have proof of vaccination ready when they arrive for the first time.

Minimal contact registration
On arrival, attendees can register via mobile and take advantage of self pick-up badge collection to minimise contact with event staff. The digital delegate pack and AusRAIL PLUS event app will ensure they have all the information needed during the event, without needing to collect additional delegate materials.

Increased exhibition space
Exhibition aisles have been widened to increase visitor space and maximise social distancing.

Capacity limits
All conference rooms, exhibition and other delegate spaces will be clearly marked with capacity limits to help maintain social distancing throughout the event.

Face masks
Face masks are currently compulsory for all indoor settings in NSW. All attendees must bring their own mask to gain entry into the venue. Direction and advice may change over time.

No handshake policy
Attendees are asked to greet one another with no physical contact throughout the event.

Designated pathways
Dedicated entry and exit points into the Exhibition Hall will be in place to make it easier for movement through the Exhibition.

Increased cleaning and disinfection
The ICC Sydney team will complete increased cleaning and disinfection across all event areas, paying special attention to high-touch items.

Sanitising stations
Sanitising stations with alcohol-based hand sanitiser will be available on entry to the ICC and throughout the event areas, including most Exhibition stands.

COVIDsafe check-in with Service NSW
All attendees will be required to check-in to the event using the QR codes provided. Download the Service NSW mobile app at the Apple store or Google play before arrival.
