<p>The Rail Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) has criticised the federal Budget over its lack of funding for public transport and infrastructure investment.</p> <p>RTBU national secretary Roger Jowett said: "The RTBU is very concerned that the budget contained no funds for urban public transport and that it reduced the already miserly allocations for upgrading the national rail network."</p> <p>The union has also lent its support to moves by Labor, the Democrats and the Greens to vote down the proposed increases in medicine prices and changes to the Disability Support Pension.</p> <p>"Health benefits, pensions and public transport, schools and hospitals suffer in this budget," Mr Jowett said.</p> <br />
