<p>The death of a worker yesterday (Monday, September 4) at Pacific National’s rail yard at Newstead in northern Tasmania, is the subject of a coronial inquest.</p> <p>Father of three Monty Trotter was crushed when the wagon he was checking was accidentally shunted, the Launceston <em> Examiner</em> reported.</p> <p>"Pacific National would like to express its deepest condolences to the family, friends and work colleagues of the deceased," the company said.</p> <p>"Pacific National is co-operating fully with the relevant authorities in their investigation of the circumstances relating to the death of this valued employee."</p> <br />
