Rail takes centre stage in NSW budget

<span class="" id="parent-fieldname-description"> The New South Wales 2014-15 budget includes a $9bn investment to expand infrastructure and boost public transport services, with more than $1.5bn to build new rail and light rail lines. </span> <p>Funding to progress plans for a new light rail line in Parramatta was a centrepiece of the budget, with the government setting aside $400m from its major infrastructure fund, Restart NSW, to accelerate work on a Western Sydney light rail system.</p><div>&nbsp
