<p>The Western Australian Government has shown its master plan for the faster direct rail link between Mandurah and Perth.</p> <p>The plan contains costings, station locations, engineering requirements, construction timelines and patronage projections.</p> <p>Trains will be able to travel at speeds of up to 130 km/h on the new railway and complete the 72-km between Mandurah and Perth in 48 minutes.</p> <p>The project is expected to be completed in 2006.</p> <br />
