<p>The <em>Lloyd’s List DCN</em> National Rail Infrastructure Summit 2002 kicks off in Sydney next month.</p> <p>Speakers include Rail, Tram and Bus Union national secretary Roger Jowett, Australasian Railways Association executive director John Kirk and Thiess executive manager – rail infrastructure Ross Drabble.</p> <p>Topics to be covered during the two-day conference relate to investment and development of the national rail network. </p> <p>Issues will include managing assets, private sector involvement and maintenance. </p> <p>A case study on gaining community support for infrastructure projects has also been scheduled.</p> <p>The summit is being held at the Dockside in Cockle Bay on June 20 and 21.
