Rail fatality in Melbourne

<p>A Pacific National train driver died last night after falling from a train in Melbourne.</p> <p>It is believed the man was crushed after falling on to a bridge which crosses the Maribyrnong River between Dynon and Footscray Roads.</p> <p>Pacific National said the man was from the Junee drivers depot and undertaking normal operational activities in the Melbourne terminal complex at the time of the tragic accident.</p> <p>Chief executive officer Stephen O’Donnell extended deepest sympathy to the man’s family on behalf of all Pacific National workers.</p> <p>The incident is being investigated.</p> <br />
