<p>Pacific National employees have endorsed an Enterprise Agreement (EA), which will grant a 2.5% pay increase backdated to July.</p> <p>The agreement applies to former FreightCorp employees and it will run until February 16, 2003, when the EA with former National Rail employees will also conclude, Pacific National said.</p> <p>As well as the pay increase, the newly endorsed agreement will provide clearer consultation and dispute resolution processes, and will include some workplace flexibility provisions that will "assist in making the business more effective", the company said.</p> <p>More than 80% of employees who voted were in favour of the agreement, Pacific National said.</p> <p>The EA will now be lodged with the Australian Industrial Relations Commission for certification. </p> <br />
