<p>The Australian railways Association was looking for a missing $120m funding allocation in last night’s Budget, promised for a study of the inland railway between Melbourne and Brisbane, chief executive Brian Nye said today (Wednesday, May 9).</p> <p>“The $120m has disappeared,” he said.</p> <p>“We know it’s in there – we just don’t know where it’s going to go.”</p> <p>A spokesman for transport minister Mark Vaile said the Government would release project specifics over the coming months.</p> <p>Overall, the ARA was pleased with the $22.3bn funding allocation.</p> <p>“Money for infrastructure is what we’ve all been crying for,” he said. “It’s a good result.”</p> <br />
