<p>QR will spend $39m on track duplication to boost coal haulage capacity in central Queensland.</p> <p>The 24 km section of track between Dingo and Wallaroo – about 120 km west of Rockhampton – will boost QR’s coal haulage capacity to the port of Gladstone.</p> <p>Coal haulage on the system is expected to jump 10m tonnes in the next two years as a new mine at Rolleston comes on stream.</p> <p>The duplication is scheduled for completion in mid-2005.</p> <br />
