<p>QR will form a partnership with Abigroup Limited after a successful joint tender to design and construct the $70m North Bowen Basin Rail Link. </p> <p>The project involves design and building approximately 46.5 km of rail line to the north of South Walker on the Goonyella Line to service the new Hail Creek Mine site and future mine sites in the area.</p> <p>QR will design and construct the trackwork, communication and signalling part of the contract. </p> <p>Construction of the rail link is expected to be completed by October next year.</p> <br />
