<p>Rail operations between Portman’s Koolyanobbing mine and the port of Esperance were expected to resume at midnight tomorrow after the derailment of an iron ore train yesterday.</p> <p>The derailment – at low speed – resulted in two locomotives and six wagons leaving the tracks, the miner told the <em>West Australian</em> .</p> <p>There were no injuries and no other trains were involved in the crash.</p> <p>"Investigations are underway by relevant authorities, with representatives from Portman, Australian Railroad Group, WestNet Rail and the Esperance Port Authority in attendance," Portman said.</p> <p>The miner did not expect its shipping or mining activities to be affected by the incident."</p> <br />
