NGR Depot tour to kick off RISSB Safety Conference

Speeches from GoldLinQ, TasRail, the ATSB, the ARTC, the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator and more will headline the 2017 edition of the RISSB Rail Safety Conference.

Announced this week, the Conference Agenda also includes a visit to Bombardier’s Wulkuraka Maintenance Depot.

Officially opened in February 2016, the depot is responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of the New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) fleet currently being rolled out on South East Queensland’s railways.

The tour of the depot will serve to open the two-day conference, which will take place at Pullman Brisbane King George Square on April 4 and 5, 2017.
