<p>New South Wales joined South Australia and Victoria yesterday (Thursday, September 29) in signing up for the Federal Government’s AusLink program.</p> <p>The Northern Territory is expected to join the program today.</p> <p>Queensland, Western Australia, and Tasmania are still debating whether to join the new transport planning and funding system.</p> <p>The NSW Road Transport Association has welcomed the signing of the AusLink agreement. </p> <p>Extra funding for NSW likely to come includes further duplication of the Pacific and Hume Highways, the widening of the F3 freeway between Sydney and Newcastle, and the development of new routes through the Lower Hunter Valley. </p> <br />
