National Express speeds up Australia exit

<p>Britain’s National Express group has decided to quit three of its four Australian bus operations.</p> <p>The sales follow the company’s decision to abandon its Victorian passenger rail operations in December 2002 after it failed to resolve a row with the State Government.</p> <p>National Express will sell its National Bus Company operations in Victoria and Queensland and its Southern Coast Transit in Western Australia.</p> <p>It has one remaining bus operation in Sydney and National Express says it will review the future of that operation by the end of this year.</p> <br />
