Mt Gambier V/Line service resumes

V/Line passengers will be able to travel to and from South Australia from today (23 November), following reopening of the South Australian borders.

All coaches to and from Mt Gambier will also resume running as normal.

Passengers are asked to plan ahead, and ensure they have the correct permits and meet the travel requirements of their destination.

People travelling from Victoria into South Australia need to provide proof of double vaccination status.

If travelling on public transport, you must wear a fitted face mask covering your nose and mouth and ensure you wear it for your entire journey, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so.

Fitted face masks must be put on when entering a train station and before getting on coaches. They must also be worn on platforms and coach stops when you can’t keep a safe distance from others.

The South Australian Government has advised that people should not travel if they are unwell.

Current requirements on public transport also include checking in wherever QR codes are provided.
