<p>Australia’s well-documented resources boom has made many an executive wealthy, none moreso than Fortescue Metals Group chief executive Andrew Forrest, who, with a personal shareholding $1.9 bn, is the country’s fourth richest executive, according to <em>BRW </em> magazine.</p> <p>Toll Holdings managing director Paul Little, on more than $707m, sat just outside the top 10 at spot 11.</p> <p>His righthand man, Mark Rowsthorn, sat 12th on the list with an estimated personal shareholding of $578m.</p> <p><em>BRW</em> magazine’s executive rich list is drawn from Australia’s top 500 public companies and ranks the 200 wealthiest managers by the value of their shareholdings.</p> <p>Other mining executives to make the list were Kagara Zinc Ltd chairman Kim Robinson (at 60th), Oxiana Ltd managing director Owen Hegarty (67th), Summit Resources Ltd boss Alan Eggers (101st) and BHP Billiton chief executive Chip Goodyear (153rd).</p> <p>Close to 20% of the top 200 executives were involved in the resources sector.</p> <br />
