<p>Federal transport minister John Anderson, federal opposition leader Kim Beazley, New South Wales infrastructure minister Craig Knowles, and prime ministerial infrastructure taskforce member Henry Ergas are all confirmed to speak at the AusIntermodal conference in Sydney on July 25 and 26.</p> <p>Leading industry speakers include stevedoring chiefs Chris Corrigan, of Patrick Corp, and Tim Blood, of P&O Ports, Port of Melbourne Corporation chief executive Stephen Bradford, Sydney Ports Corporation chief executive Greg Martin and Fremantle Ports chief executive Kerry Sanderson. </p> <p>Other major industry speakers include Greg Smith, general manager of Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal lease holder Prime Infrastructure, and Linfox chief executive Chris Munro.</p> <p>The theme of this year’s conference is Australian Infrastructure at the Crossroads, and follows the highly successful AusIntermodal 2004 in Melbourne.</p> <p>Special attention will be paid to integrated bulk cargo transport, as well as containerised intermodal transport, to reflect the capacity and planning issues affecting both unitised and bulk trade in Australia right now.</p> <p>For more details, contact loic.beuzit@informa.com.au</p> <br />
