<p>A drop in grain traffic hit the Australian Railroad Group’s (ARG) figures for October 2005, when compared with the same period last year.</p> <p>Grain wagonloads dropped by 7,737 on the October 2004 figures, which were the result of a record grain harvest, ARG co-owner Genesee & Wyoming reported.</p> <p>Increases in iron ore traffic (up 2,548 wagonloads) and other commodities (up 2,097 wagonloads) helped offset the drop.</p> <br />
