The Chief Executive Officer of Inland Rail, Nick Miller, has left the company.
Miller joined Inland Rail in December 2023 and helped to establish the company as a subsidiary of the Australian Rail Track Corporation.
Mike Zambelli has been appointed as Interim CEO and work to appoint a replacement will begin soon.
Zambelli has been the Chief Operating Officer at Inland Rail for the past 15 months.
Prior to this, he was the Group Executive for the Major Construction Projects group in ARTC for three years.
A spokesperson for Inland Rail said: “The Board, Executive, and Inland Rail staff are strongly focused on continuing the delivery of the project and building on the strong momentum that has been created over the past 18 months.”
