IHHA and WCRR join forces for Rail Research Week 2025

For the first time ever, two of the most prestigious global rail events, the 13th International Heavy Haul Association Conference (IHHA 2025) and the 14th World Congress on Railway Research (WCRR 2025), are teaming up.  

This historic event will take place from November 17-21, 2025, at the iconic Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado, hosted by MxV Rail. 

Event organiser Informa said Rail Research Week 2025 is set to be the ultimate platform for industry leaders, researchers, innovators, and professionals to come together and tackle the most pressing challenges in freight, passenger rail, and everything in between.  

The theme of the week, “Inspiring Innovative and Resilient Railways,” will stimulate discussions, showcase cutting-edge technologies, and explore the latest advancements in the rail sector.
