<p>The shipping community will tonight (Thursday, August 23) bid a formal farewell to long-time chief executive of the Sydney Ports Corporation, Greg Martin, who steps down from the position next week.</p> <p>Mr Martin, who has been running the SPC for 11 years, will be the guest of honour at a function in the Quay Restaurant at Circular Quay.</p> <p>Present and former government ministers, key stakeholders, including senior representatives from the shipping lines, transport and logistics and stevedoring industries, will be among the 180 guests invited to the function, which begins at 6 pm. </p> <br />
