<p>Total stocks of grain held by major bulk grain handling companies and grain traders in Australia declined 15% to 8.5m tonnes, during May, new Australian Bureau of Statistic data shows.</p> <p>Stocks of sorghum, other feed grain and pulses declined after a rise in the previous month. </p> <p>Wheat stocks fell by 1.1m tonnes – the largest absolute decrease in the reference month. Oats had the highest relative decrease, falling by 32% to 21,500 tonnes. </p> <p>Barley again experienced a significant decrease in stocks, with two-thirds of this decrease in barley for feed. </p> <br />
