<p>Engineering consultancies GHD and Egis have merged.</p> <p>The combined workforce will number about 2,300 and annual fee income will be $250m, putting the expanded GHD in the world’s top 50 in engineering and environmental consulting. </p> <p>GHD executive chairman John Phillips said: "We are delighted to be adding Egis’ expertise to the GHD Group. </p> <p>"There are few major Australian consultancies left standing and this agreement reinforces our position and the ability to compete on the world stage."</p> <br />
