<p>The Ghan passenger train collided with a truck near Mallala, north of Adelaide, at 11.30 this morning (Monday, August 6).</p> <p>There were no reports of injuries to passengers on the southbound train.</p> <p>The ABC reported that an ambulance had been called for the truck driver, who police suspected could still be trapped in the rig.</p> <p>A South Australian Police spokesman had denied that the incident occurred at a level crossing.</p> <p>There were four incidents recorded along the Adelaide-Darwin line in the last two months of 2006, including a collision between a road train and the Ghan in December. </p> <br />
