<p>FreightLink has appointed John Fullerton as its new CEO.</p> <p>Mr Fullerton has been Pacific National’s operation services general manager for the past two years and he will replace outgoing FreightLink CEO Bruce McGowan at the end of September.</p> <p>FreightLink chairman Malcolm Kinnaird said Mr Fullerton had 24 years’ experience in the rail sector.</p> <p>"John is highly skilled in contemporary supply chain and logistics management and is attuned to customers’ needs and the market," he said.</p> <p>Mr Fullerton was also the former chief operating officer of National Rail Corp.</p> <p>"I’m very excited to be taking on the challenge that is the creation of a new AustralAsia trade route from Adelaide to Darwin and destinations to Australia’s north," Mr Fullerton said.</p> <p>Bruce McGowan has steeped down to pursue other business interest and spend more time with his family in Melbourne.</p> <p>He will remain on the FreightLink board as a director. </p> <br />
