<p>Freightlink’s next big bulk haulage deal has grown after Territory Iron increased the expected size of its Frances Creek iron ore deposit.</p> <p>Territory Iron plans to begin mining the deposit in May, boosting Freightlink’s growing list of bulk clients.</p> <p>Freightlink began moving manganese ore along the Adelaide-Darwin line in May.</p> <p>The rail operator expects to double its volumes this year, hauling about 660,000 tonnes of the product along the 900 km distance, from the OM Manganese-owned mine.</p> <p>Territory Iron said its iron ore reserves at Frances Creek were now about 4.81m tonnes, with total resources about 9.7m tonnes.</p> <p>The company expects to export at a rate of about 1m tonnes this year, with plans to ramp up production to 1.5m tonnes next year.</p> <br />
