<p>The Victorian Government will quiz thousands of commuters on what they expect from the state’s regional fast rail project.</p> <p>The surveys are taking place at rail stations and nearby service stations.</p> <p>Feedback will be used to help draw up the timetable for implementation of V/Line’s fast rail.</p> <p>The $550m regional fast rail project will involve 29 new trains travelling at speeds up to 160 km/h, and is part of the State Government’s Linking Victoria scheme.</p> <br />
