Environmental feedback sought on Albury-to-Illabo section

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Albury to Illabo (A2I) Inland Rail section has been released for public notification and comment, with the public exhibition closing on September 14.

Community members and key stakeholders are invited to provide feedback and make formal submissions, which will be considered by the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) when assessing the project.

Drop-in sessions will be held on August 17 and 18, where attendees can access further information, a Summary of Findings, and receive assistance with making their submission.

A written report responding to any issues that are raised during the public exhibition will be made publicly available for stakeholders and the community to view and will be submitted to DPE and the Minister for Planning for consideration.

To have your say online, visit Major Projects | Planning Portal – Department of Planning and Environment during the exhibition period and click on ‘Make a submission’. Postal submissions are also available.
